Miami Brickell

Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita

Lolita sits at 1000 S Miami Ave, right in the heart of Brickell, which means it fills up fast on weekday evenings when the office buildings empty out. Reservations are worth making if you're going Thursday through Saturday. The bar seating is a legitimate option if you're a party of two and want to eat without the wait.

Twisted Indian

Lokesh Vale is CIA-trained with Four Seasons Mumbai experience — the Twisted Indian is not an approximation of Indian food, it's a considered translation of it. The tikka red sauce is the thing reviewers mention most; ask for extra on the side. It's fast-casual and only 25 seats, so expect a line at lunch on weekdays. Closed Mondays.

Tombolo Books

Tombolo is what a bookstore looks like when it's built by someone who actually knows how bookstores work. Alsace Walentine spent 16 years running events at one of Asheville's best before coming to St. Pete. The curation shows. New titles land on Tuesday — follow @TomboloBooks on Instagram to see what just arrived before you make the trip.
